Purpose of the Reading
This reading is to encourage insightful reflection on your situation. Hopefully you ‘see’ things that otherwise would be hidden. The reading makes no special attempt to predict future events, as you are the one to take charge of life.
“Your journey is completely yours. It is unique. Others may try to steal part of it, tell it in their words or shape it to suit them. Reality is no one can live it or own it but you. Take charge of your journey, it's yours and yours alone!” Kemi Sogunle
This reading focuses on suffering and confusion caused by martyrdom and selfishness (Hanged Man - Reversed). Quite commonly this can be unintentional to the extent a person is unaware of the true motivations. In most situations I see this as a warning from the Tarot to be alert to this and avoid as it can be very destructive to any relationship. The Fool continues the theme with a sense of progressing heedlessly and full of self-absorption.
Again this is likely to be something that the person is unaware that this is happening and others are seeing this behaviour. This behaviour may be something you are falling into or it could be reflecting someone you know. Finally, the Page of Pentacles brings in a sense of diligence and benevolence. This suggests strong that these behaviours are unintentional.
If this 'tough-love' reading resonates with you and your partner, then I would suggest seeking professional advice just to talk through your feelings with a neutral person. If this is also affecting a relationship then there is real value in having joined counceling sessions as well.
(Hanged Man-Reversal - Martyrdom; Page of Pentacles - Generous; Fool - Ecstasy and Self-absorption)
