Purpose of the Reading

This reading is to encourage insightful reflection on your situation. Hopefully you ‘see’ things that otherwise would be hidden. The reading makes no special attempt to predict future events, as you are the one to take charge of life.

Your journey is completely yours. It is unique. Others may try to steal part of it, tell it in their words or shape it to suit them. Reality is no one can live it or own it but you. Take charge of your journey, it's yours and yours alone!” Kemi Sogunle

Interpretation of the Tarot cards

The cards suggest a tremendous amount of energy, enthusiasm, and desire for new experiences to start any new project and the sense of journey and commitment to make the longer-term effort for success ("do the hard yards"). All the ingredients are in place for success based on personal drive, initiative, and commitment. This is very positive reading.

The warning signs are overt recklessness and losing interest in a venture. You'll need to find ways to keeping motivated and staying prudently on message.

A close confidant with business experience can be very useful here. Also most countries and regions have small business advice bureaus that can help. All the best.

Interpretation of the Tarot cards

The cards suggest taking charge of the situation by imposing structure and control. This means acknowledging the current realities and adapting a lifestyle accordingly. New relationships can start in the most unexpected ways, and, honestly, someone who grasps life will attractive to others (including potential) partners in general. Finally the cards bring in a sense of that's the 'right' thing to do with a purity of purpose.

So, specifically, to your situation, I so sorry to hear of distress that your are suffering now since the dissolution of your relationship. I can be very distressing. The cards suggest setting up a structure of meeting new people through common interests or existing friends. New relationships can start in the most unexpected and exciting new ways. Unfortunately it is a number games (not meaning to be too crude about it) in that the more people you meet the more likely you will form a new relationship. I think, ironically, it is also important to be a peace with your self if that takes time. Alone does not have to be lonely.

(Emperor - Power, structure; Knight of Pentacles - Competent, able; Strength - Courage)

By Alex McCullie

Useful Background Information

Reading Theme(s)

Power, Structure

Moral Message(s)

Be willing to control of the situation by setting structures in place to achieved desired results.

Spiritual Messages

Masculine gods, including the Hebrew God, the Christian God, Allah, and Zeus. Patriarchs (Abraham) and lawgivers (Moses). Vishnu, the Preserver.

General Love Advice

Without becoming false or deceptive, you can regulate your feelings and reactions. Beware the need to always be in control; a healthy relationship incorporates a fair division of labor. Be on the lookout for subtle (and not-so-subtle) efforts to wear the pants in the relationship.

Useful Questions for Reflection

* How does the issue of control or regulation impact this situation?

* What would a compassionate but strict parent do?

* What needs more control?

Interpretation of the Tarot cards

The cards refer to secrecy or secrets as the main theme of this reading. According to my reading, secrets are successfully maintained through skill and ingeniousness. The cards do not indicate who is keeping the secrets or from whom. But given the relationship question, the unnecessary secrecy is likely to be between the seeker and partner.

If this resonates with you and in your relationship, there is a need to resolve this issue before deciding how to move forward. We all hold secrets and it is unrealistic to say we need to share everything. However the cards suggest that this is important, and it is likely a need to be dealt with. It may be appropriate to seek local professional relationship advice to move forward.

Interpretation of the Tarot cards

This is a very positive reading with reflections providing spiritual clarity; a determination to be successful; and ability to fulfill the hopes of being fair and equitable to yourself and others.

In the past you learnt that discovering or re-discovering your true path in life leads to feeling a sense of balance and harmony. This insight, even if fleeting, was accompanied with a sense of joy and harmony. Seeing life beyond immediate material needs is an important goal of spiritual and religious movements in human history. The cards suggest you experienced some of this, even momentarily, and the experience needs to be remembered.

(Judgement - Awakening; 2S - Harmony restored; 3C - Bounty)

From spiritual lessons of the past, your present goal should be “Strive for fulfilling one's hopes”. The cards suggest that you can have great hopes for the future, providing your attention endures on achieving your goals. Success is within your grasp through commitment and personal power. This is a very positive combination of cards.

(Star - Bright expectations; 14C - Graceful; Chariot - Victory; triumph)

The future anticipates your determination and hopes will be applied to approaching the future with a real sense of equity and fairness. Your judgements will be balanced and applied impartially and without favour to seek the truth. You will be respected for honest deals at home and work.

(2W - Boldness; Justice - Equity. Fairness; 14W - Honest)

Others will have their opinions, but ultimately, you must decide what spiritual practices are right for you. Speak your mind and share your own views with courage and honesty. Answering the call of Spirit may dictate taking the road less traveled by.

General Work Advice

No one can serve two masters. Before proceeding, determine exactly how much authority you have in this matter. In addition, it's time to decide which "To Do" items move you closer to your personal goals...and which ones are merely consuming your limited time and energy.

* What values govern your decision-making process?

* What choice will you make if you make no choice at all?

* To what extent is your life (or work) balanced?

Interpretation of the Tarot cards

This reading is about using your skills and strength to work through difficult times of dramatic and sudden transition that lead to better times. Ultimately the short-term stress leads to resolving existing conflicts and uncertainties.

The past suggests that you have learnt to use your inner strength and courage to stay focused with a sense of direction and unity. Remember not to be distracted and forgetting your main goal.

In the present period you use your skills and knowledge to bring about significant, possibly unexpected, changes with the support of others, such as management. These changes may be driven by organisation restructuring or mergers, takeovers, and management changes.

Your future expectations are that any disruptions to business will lead to better times with renewed purpose. There is a concern that overdoing the efforts are unnecessary for making effective change but may create other problems.

Useful Background Information

Theme(s) in the Reading

Survival, Discipline; Skill and Success; Assessment, evaluation, re-evaluation

Affirmation Statement(s) for Use

"To stay on target, I measure my progress."

“Each day I enhance my self-discipline.”

Spiritual messages

Which are you more likely to do: look back on wasted days or focus on a brighter future? The past is the past; let it go. If you haven't achieved, spiritually speaking, what you hoped to achieve by now, deepen your resolve, set new goals, and prey for the strength to achieve them.

Advice

Exercise whatever authority you have. With the right resources, you'll succeed. But not everyone who appears empowered really is. With an eye toward growth, seek allies who focus on steak, not sizzle. Be a mentor ... or find one. Deploy tools and resources against well-defined goals.

Fulfillment keeps work from becoming drudgery. What do you need in order to feel rewarded? To what extent is your current work providing this? A new project can breathe life back into a dull job. Be alert for opportunities to change your job without, necessarily, changing jobs.

Take-Away Questions

* How can I enhance my self-discipline?

* What behaviors tempt me? How can I resist?

* What instincts do I continue to struggle with today?

* What am I empowered to do?

* How might my abilities come into play?

* To what extent am I making the most of my talents?

* To what extent have I fulfilled my own expectations?

* What are the terms of success?

* How can I be happier with the progress I've made?

What are my boyfriend's intentions?

Your journey is completely yours. It is unique. Others may try to steal part of it, tell it in their words or shape it to suit them. Reality is no one can live it or own it but you. Take charge of your journey, it's yours and yours alone!” Kemi Sogunle

Using the Reading

The Tarot message is for you and your situation. Sometimes its meaning is obvious and at other times obscure. It is quite usual to reflect on the message over a few days or even longer. I suspect that's its purpose. My interpretation uses intuition, Tarot familiarity, and life experiences to help you with that journey, but you may rightly arrive at a different place. Just remember the journey is often more important than a destination and use the questions below to help find the path right for you.

The Tarot Says

(The Tarot messages are sometimes clear-cut; sometimes enigmatic; and other times address other important questions.)

"A path balancing thoughts and desires nourished by growth and fruitfulness gives well-being and contentment."

Interpretation

This is a positive message with a lot of creative energy, which suggests keeping a balance between what you actually know and your feelings about the matter. Therefore the message may be warning against over thinking the relationship on one side and being too emotional on the other. I suggest using the questions below to help clarify your thinking.

By Alex McCullie.

Theme(s)

Adaptation, adjustments

Affirmation

"I keep an open mind."

Story

The Main Character comes up with a creative solution to handle an unforeseen complication.

Spiritual

Attend a workshop or seminar and learn new spiritual techniques. Consider taking a trip exclusively for the purpose of enhancing your spiritual perspective. If a discipline isn't helping you, abandon it, but not without defining what worked, what didn't work, and why.

Advice

Relationships involve give and take. Prepare for some compromises. Someone may have to adjust expectations in order to be happy. Look around; you may find better options elsewhere. How long since you sat down and discussed what works and what doesn't?

Take-Away Questions

* What assumptions govern my thinking?

* How willing am I to lend aid to others? To request it when I need it?

* How prepared am I to deal with change? With unexpected outcomes?

* If I made my decision based solely on practical concerns, what would my decision be?

* What resources are available to me?

* What will be the physical and financial impact of my decisions?

* What would a concerned and capable mother do?

* What can I do that would emphasize growth?

* How can I celebrate my own sensuality and sexuality?

Theme(s)

Introspection, Analysis

Story

On the verge of giving up, the main character withdraws, seeking clarity in isolation. He or she may receive advice from a wise person.

Advice

To be the best you can be, you must know who you really are. Reject the definitions others project on you. Search within. What do you really value? What do you really want to achieve? Empower yourself by embracing yourself, warts and all.

Take-Away Questions

* What would happen if I simply withdrew and took no action?

* How can I get some perspective on the situation?

* Who has walked this path before me? How can I enlist his or her help?

* How can I get more done?

* What's expected of me? How large a role do I play in controlling those expectations?

"Work, even though acknowledged as considered and skillful, fails to complete, being withdrawn for an honourable outcome."

Interpretation

My interpretation is fairly tentative, as I'm not quite sure how it applies specifically to your question from my understanding of your situation. However the message doesn't seem directly to address your honesty question. It appears to warn against giving up on the relationship too soon. If this resonates with you, then the message also acknowledges your efforts are seen as worthwhile.

By Alex McCullie.

Theme(s)

Expression, production, work, contribution

Affirmation

"My work produces results."

Story

The Main Character achieves a result that no other characters have been able to attain.

Spiritual

In return for dedicated pursuit, a spiritual path should yield focus, fulfillment, and peace. To what extent is your own spiritual practice delivering the promised changes in mind, body, and prosperity? It may be time to evaluate what you're giving and receiving.

Advice

What are the terms that govern your relationship? What have you agreed to do? What roles and responsibilities fall to your partner or friend? The health of any relationship is directly related to the effort both partners make to fulfill their obligations. If you haven't discussed terms, do so.

Take-Away Questions

* How can I get more done?

* What's the difference between selfish action and acting in my own best interest?

* How attentive am I?

* How can I draw people's attention to what we have in common?

(The Tarot messages are sometimes clear-cut; sometimes enigmatic; and other times address other important questions.)

"A youthful person, who is cautious, imaginative, thoughtful, and, at times, impractical, expects assaults that will further her or his advancement."

Interpretation

I interpret the Tarot message is warning against a ‘glass half empty’ view of the world and opportunities. We can grow in reaction to defending our situations successfully, but that can be also very debilitating over the longer-term. Rather seek out new opportunities even those causing anxieties and potential criticism from others. We all can be too sensitive to others and allow that to restrict our growth. Use the questions below to explorer what may be holding you back.

By Alex McCullie.

Theme(s)

Bluntness, intelligence, incisiveness, investigation

Affirmation

"I temper my insights with tact."

Story

The Main Character's remarkable abilities cause some to become his enemies.

Spiritual

Consider the words that have been used to shape your understanding of yourself (and Spirit) over the years. If these terms have been poisoned by dogmatism and abusive spirituality, strive to find your own words for the higher powers and deeper realms you hope to explore.

Advice

Rather than be defensive, relax. Give criticism a chance. A mature person acknowledges his or her capacity for improvement, and isn't intimidated by the observations of others. Take what will help you; discard the rest.

Take-Away Questions

* What do I really need to know?

* To what extent have I investigated the facts behind my situation?

* How can I share what I know without alienating others?

* What role does worry play in your current situation?

* To what other ends might you devote the energy you're giving to anxiety?

* How can you know when it's time to stop thinking and start acting?

* How does this challenge fit into a larger pattern?

* What role does luck play in my circumstances?

* What can I control? How should I know when to relinquish control?

Purpose of the Reading

This reading is to encourage insightful reflection on your situation. Hopefully you ‘see’ things that otherwise would be hidden. The reading makes no special attempt to predict future events, as you are the one to take charge of life.

Your journey is completely yours. It is unique. Others may try to steal part of it, tell it in their words or shape it to suit them. Reality is no one can live it or own it but you. Take charge of your journey, it's yours and yours alone!” Kemi Sogunle

The Tarot Says

(The Tarot messages are sometimes clear-cut; sometimes enigmatic; and other times address other, more important questions.)

"Invoked strength in time of troubles conveys a boldness to reach the destination with determination being rewarded by public rewards and improvements."

Interpretation

I interpret the Tarot message as a ‘call to arms’. To look within for strength to take charge of where you are at. This can be difficult and scary. Many years ago a lecture told of me a wonderful parable. Imagine a cave from which there is a scary roaring, so scary you wanted to run away. However with encourage you went inside with a lantern until you saw the source of the roaring. It was a mouse with a megaphone. I have never forgotten that story to remind me the with courage problems become surmountable. I hope the questions below assist and also seek out friends who can support you.

Theme

Invoked force, power for good, justice

Affirmation

"I take the time to think things through."

Story

The Main Character must make an important decision that will determine his or her ultimate fate.

Spiritual

Your relationship with Spirit should inform all your decisions. Here's an opportunity to apply what you've learned in your inner life to decisions that impact your outer life. If you were to make this decision for someone else, what verdict would you render?

Advice

Set your emotions aside for the moment and look at your relationship from an objective point of view. Would a judge or jury say this relationship is performing as it should? You're facing a difficult decision; make it with your head, not your heart.

Take-Away Questions

* If I made my decision purely based on reason and logic, what would my decision be?

* What do I think about my own problem-solving ability?

* Who can supply me with the pure and simple facts?

* How quickly do you adapt to change?

* What would your response be to overwhelming, sudden change?

* What changes are on your horizon? How well have you prepared for them?

* How can I get more done?

* What's expected of me? How large a role do I play in controlling those expectations?

* What's been agreed to? How well has that agreement been followed?
